There are some quotes from famous figures — historical and contemporary — which are instantly recognisable to everybody. Our participants will try to come up with their own quote about themselves or their achievements, which the other participants will try to match to its author.
If you choose some really motivational or encouraging quotes you set the tone for an inspirational atmosphere.

Time
ca. 20 mins (depending on group size).
Task
Give each person a card and a marker. Participants write their name on the back of the card and, on the front, a statement about themselves that they think other team members don’t know. After a few minutes collect all the cards, read them out loudly and have participants guess the team member they think wrote the statement. If the team cannot guess, then have the owner of the card identifies themselves — or the moderator puts the card to one side and deals with cards no one guessed at the end.
